WHAT IS SIN?

Many people who do not read the Word of God, have very little idea what sin is. Sin is what separates us from God. Any sin regardless of how small you may think it is, that is not confessed to Jesus Christ and covered by His blood, will result in a person spending eternity in eternal torment. God gave everyone an easy way to abolish all their sins.

The whole purpose of this life, which is relatively short, is to: Read the Word of God, find “The Truth”, make Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior, be filled with the Holy Spirit, confess your past sins directly to God, and turn from your past sinful ways, thus avoiding the eternal fires of Hell.

If you chose to ignore God’s way and live life your way, your sins will be revealed on judgment day and you will be cast down. Listed below are the many sins of our modern day world.

God promised in His Word (Deuteronomy 28:15-46) that everyone who continues in sin will be plagued by curses from the evil one. In other words your sins will cause God to lift His hedge of protection from around you and curses from the evil one will fall on you.

Sickness, disease, poverty, turmoil, and failed relationships are all mentioned as some of the curses, which will come upon the sinner who continues to sin. Is it really worth it? Wouldn’t a close personal relationship with the Lord serve you better?
